The Science of Reaction Force
Under the expert guidance of Mr Lowe (6th Degree Black Belt) and our team of professional instructors, students learn the deep science of Taekwon-Do. We teach the Theory of Power, which explains how to use your body mass, breath, and acceleration to generate force. This means that a smaller person can effectively defend themselves against a much larger opponent by using superior technique rather than raw muscle. This is a life-changing realisation for many of our female students and younger practitioners, as it removes the fear of being physically overmatched.
